“What A Mighty God We Serve”

31 “God’s way is perfect.  All the Lord’s promises prove true.  He is a shield for all who look to him for protection.  32  For who is God except the Lord? Who but our God is a solid rock?  33  God is my strong fortress, and he makes my way perfect. – 2 Samuel 22:31-33 NLT

2 Samuel 22:31-37

What a mighty God we serve!  No religion can make the claim that we Christians can make about our God.  No religion can make the claim that they have a God who loved them enough to send His only Son to die for them and  redeem them from the curse of sin. There are other so-called gods but they are all dead and buried or if they were only idols having no life, they have been destroyed.  We serve a living God, a risen Savior and we are guided by an indwelling Holy Spirit.  That is why Christianity is not a religion, it is a relationship with a living Lord.  The Bible is a book about our God and what our relationship with Him should be.  How many times have you read a book and wished that you could sit down and talk with the author?  Well, we can do that everyday with the Author and the Finisher of our Bible.  Every day of our lives, we can sit at the feet of Jesus and learn about Him from Him.  When we do that faithfully and obediently, we learn that all of His promises are true.  He is our protector, our Solid Rock, our fortress, our Banner, our Physician and the list goes on and on.  Our God is everything we need when we need it the most.  He cannot and will not fail us.  He is able to deliver us and bring us home to His glory! Praise His Name!!

Jude 24, 25

No Worries

33 Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.  — Matt. 6:33 NLT
God gave us time in 24 hour blocks so that our finite minds could comprehend it. He isn’t bound by those restraints. It is always the PRESENT (NOW) to Him. He sees time as an eternity having no beginning and no end. He has forgotten all about your PAST sins (they are cast as far away as the East is from the West) and only He knows whether we have an earthly tomorrow (FUTURE) or not. God comes to us right where we are right now. So, wherever you are and whatever situation you have found yourself in, just look up and you will see the hand of Jesus reaching down to pull you up out of the pit and set your feet on the Solid Rock. Trust Jesus to be your Savior, your Provider, and your Fortress.  God is our Jehovah-Jireh, our Provider. He is absolutely all we need.

19 And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus.

— Phil, 4:19 NLT

We Have Safety, Security, and Peace in the Palm of God’s Hand

God is waiting to show you the way.

God is waiting to show you the way.

11 I, yes I, am the Lord, and there is no other Savior. 12 First I predicted your rescue, then I saved you and proclaimed it to the world. No foreign god has ever done this. You are witnesses that I am the only God,” says the Lord. 13 “From eternity to eternity I am God. No one can snatch anyone out of my hand. No one can undo what I have done.”–Isaiah 43:11-13 (NLT)
Although God was speaking to the children of Israel in this instance, it is still true for us today. He is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. He is immutable and omnipotent. He exists outside of time as we know it. God divided time into segments for our benefit, but He is not bound by hours or days. He is our Lord and Savior and no one else could do what He has done for us. No one can undo what He has done. He has promised to never leave nor forsake us. He never has and He never will. His faithfulness has no limits. It continues forever.
1 I love you, Lord; you are my strength. 2 The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my savior; my God is my rock, in whom I find protection. He is my shield, the power that saves me, and my place of safety.–Psalm 18:1,2 (NLT) We owe Him all our love. He gives us peace beyond our understanding which causes us to tell the world about the goodness of our Lord and Savior.
